Your remuneration
SNSW Grade 12 - The package includes the base salary range of ($152,978 - $162,943), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Opportunity
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for establishing, maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important clients and agency partners to maximise business development opportunities for Service NSW. The role is responsible for delivering a positive client relationship experience, ensuring clients and agency partners expectations are met within Service NSW frameworks, and is the primary point of contact for client and agency partners, representing the range of services provided by Service NSW.
Key Accountabilities
• Lead strategic account planning process which develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
• Own and manage client and partner relationship from opportunity pursuit, strategy and solution design conception, through onboarding, and to ongoing management, proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating client and agency partner needs on an ongoing basis.
• Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to client and partner relationship, including leading delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives, and driving resolution of high severity requests or issue escalations.
• Coordinate support, service, and management resources across Service NSW to meet account performance objectives and client expectations, including leading solution development efforts that best address client and partner needs.
• Identify and grow business development opportunities to enhance the range of services provided by Service NSW and collaborate across Service NSW to ensure growth attainment.
• Lead performance reporting of key account metrics, and provide key strategic insights and recommendations for Service NSW Executive Leadership Team.
• Providing timely, professional expert advice to the Executive Director when identifying and assessing business opportunities for Service NSW.
Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications within a relevant business discipline, or demonstrated strong working experience at a senior level in a pricing or strategic sales role.
• Proven high level account management experience, including delivering client-focused solutions based on client needs.
• High level financial and sales management skills, balanced with knowledge of practical and commercial issues applicable to SNSW operational service functions.
• Extensive experience in building and implementing commercial agreements and frameworks in large complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of customer service delivery operations, including call centre and service centre operations in a government context will be an advantage.
• Strong experience in identifying business development opportunities, including opportunities for cross selling and new business
