Nurse 5 Remuneration Package Range $126 337 - $131 573

(comprising salary $109 660 - $114 265, superannuation, leave loading and the value of 2 weeks extra recreation leave)

Potential total Remuneration Package in the vicinity of $171 700 which includes the above Package Range and in addition; post graduate qualification allowance, professional development allowance and salary sacrifice provisions

Top End West Primary Health Care is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Primary Health Care Nurse specialising in nurse education. The role will be responsible for traveling to the communities within Top End west, working with the District Manager and Primary Health Centre Managers to assess the learning needs and clinical competencies of the PHC Nursing team. Be responsible for implementing educational programs that target different levels of expertise and experience, and evaluating outcomes as part of ongoing clinical performance development. Work alongside nurses to facilitate a better understanding of the importance Work Partnership Plans and their completion.

The communities within the Top End Service delivery Area comprise of Wadeye, Palumpa, Nauiyu, Batchelor and Adelaide River. The local Aboriginal people are always willing to provide education, history, and sharing of cultural knowledge.

This position offers an exciting experience traveling to remote communities in the Bonaparte Gulf region, the Litchfield and Douglas Daly Region and the Port Keats estuary system. There is ample opportunity to enjoy camping, off road tracks and exploration of the region and supports great fishing, crabbing and hunting permits are available from the Traditional Owners and Local Community Councils.
