• Inclusion Support Assistant position commencing July 2018
• Provide additional support within the Kindergarten group
• Casual position working 5 days per fortnight (alternate Wednesdays, Thursday and Friday)

 
C&K Stanthorpe Community Kindergarten are seeking an experienced Inclusion Support Assistant for a casual position working five days per fortnight. This role commences July 2018.
 
As the Inclusion Support Assistant, you would be required to assist with the whole group; however, there is a large element of one on one care required. We are seeking an educator who prides themselves on their strong partnerships with children and their families, and who has a passion for working closely with children who have additional needs. This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator to make a positive impact on children's experiences while in care.
 
In this role, you will be expected to:

• Form close relationships with children in the group and their families
• Collaborative positively to a strong and dedicated teaching team
• Demonstrate an understanding of The Early Years Learning Framework
• Demonstrate an understanding of and the ability to assist with the implementation of C&K Building Waterfalls Curriculum (ideal)
• Assist with monitoring, recording and evaluating children's learning and experiences, and make adjustments to the program where necessary
• Support and guide children's behaviour in positive ways 

 
The successful applicant will have:

• Certificate III in Children's Services (minimum qualification)
• Current blue card (or ability to apply)
• Current first aid, CPR and asthma/anaphylaxis
• Previous experience in a similar support role
