Hudson is sourcing experienced APS6 Policy Officers for an innovative Federal Government Department working in a highly collaborative and integrated team on a high profile national project. Its work is predominantly conducted through extensive consultation and policy analysis through a working group that consists of various national stakeholders.
The Taskforce liaises extensively across the Department as well as with other Commonwealth agencies and experts from the industry to aid the development of the Strategy. Due to the high level nature of the work, the successful candidate must be outcomes driven, accountable and future focused. Our client is looking for someone who is:
- Collaborative in their approach within the team;
- Effective in their planning to optimise results;
- Adaptable when faced with challenges and demonstrates resilience when dealing with ambiguity; and
- Self-aware and self-motivated.
The position will require the successful candidate to assist with:
- Policy analysis and the development of the Strategy;
- Project communication support for the various working groups;
- High level stakeholder engagment in regards to policy development in the subject matter; and
- Contract and financial managment experience would be beneficial although not necessary.
