About the Role
Kiama Municipal Council is currently seeking a suitably experienced and qualified Development Compliance Officer - Building to join the team on a permanent full time basis. This role will be responsible for carrying out efficient and effective regulatory enforcement and compliance functions with respect to building and development within the Kiama Municipality.
This position is classified at Grade 14 of Council's salary structure, with a commencing weekly salary from $1,422.40 (Step 1) progression to $1,686.40 (Step 9) is subject to competence and performance. These rates do not include Superannuation. Conditions of employment are in accordance with Council protocols and the Local Government (State) Award 2017. A leaseback vehicle is available for business and private use.
