An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Data Modeller to join our team at the City of Boroondara on a full time basis until June 2020.

 

Your role with us

Reporting to the Data Governance Lead, this is an opportunity to enhance our data management capabilities, including improving data quality and data readiness for the Customer First Program.

 

You will be responsible for

  • Supporting data management uptake through the organisation by acting as a key business liaison;
  • Supporting and actively identifying opportunities to innovate and implement data initiatives;
  • Driving and championing data governance;
  • Data profiling, modelling, cleansing and remediation; and
  • Monitoring and reporting on data quality.

 

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring demonstrated experience in data management, with the ability to write SQL scripts and procedures within a Microsoft environment. Your sound analytical and problem solving skills, along with your ability to develop and maintain constructive working relationships will be invaluable in this role.

Your qualification in ICT, related field of study or equivalent industry qualification and experience will be paramount to your success in this role. Experience using data modelling, analytics or visualisation tools will be of advantage
