About the Opportunity
Hawke's Bay Regional Council now has two opportunities for a Policy Planner and Senior Policy Planner to join their Strategic Planning team in Napier, NZ, on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Manager Policy Planning, these roles are primarily responsible for contributing to Council’s challenging and varied resource management policy and plan development programme.
The Senior Planner will also be involved with various policy and planning implementation processes, working within a number of project teams to coordinate resource management and policy development initiatives. This role focuses on the preparation of regional catchment plans that will improve the management of land and freshwater resources.

The successful candidates will receive a competitive remuneration circa:
- $63,039 - $85,287 (Planner level - commensurate with experience)
- $81,531 - $110,307 (Senior Planner level - commensurate with experience)
