Our Banknote Communication team manages the Bank’s communication with stakeholders and the public on banknote-related issues.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Communication Officer to support the development and implementation of banknote communication and public education initiatives to contribute to the RBA’s strategy on banknote communication.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure effective engagement with stakeholders.
- Provide strategic communication advice to Note Issue department.
- Assist with writing and proofreading publications and promotional material.
- Deliver presentations to a range of stakeholders.
- Manage Note Issue's website, intranet and other media content to ensure its relevancy and accuracy.
- Support management of public enquiries on banknote matters.
- Contribute to the strategic objectives of the department either individually or as part of a collaborative working group.
About you:
- A degree in communication (or a related discipline).
- Solid professional experience in stakeholder engagement, public relations and public education.
- Demonstrated experience developing content for a range of communication media.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with an ability to represent the Bank favourably, as well as good critical thinking skills, are key focus areas
