The Renovation of Banking Applications and Systems (ROBAS) Program is one of the largest projects undertaken by the Reserve Bank of Australia. The modernisation of the Banking System applications is a significant undertaking and as a Senior Test Analyst you will be a key contributor to facilitating successful integration of the new systems into the business environment. You will be responsible for the testing of a replacement Core Banking solution and associated integration with other RBA systems including NPP.

Your role will be to: 

• Drive testing in a mature Agile environment and champion Behaviour Driven Development
• Lead the testing function within your Scrum Team for functional, non-functional and infrastructure testing
• Plan and execute testing to get stories to done in close collaboration with all agile team members
• Work with the team to assist in developing automated tests using a BDD approach
• Champion continuous improvements and foster a quality mindset across the program including external parties such as vendors
• Maintain a good working relationship between the program team, other RBA teams and the vendor

About you:

• A good Agile mindset and understanding of how to deliver quality software systems
• Substantial experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry
• In-depth hands-on experience in developing test strategies and testing practices/processes across diverse test levels
• Experience critically assessing challenges and developing pragmatic solutions that ensure the project's key objectives are effectively met
• Experience influencing others in the team including other test analysts, key stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the best project outcomes

A degree in IT, business or finance and certifications relevant to the role would be highly regarded.
