Temporary Full Time (2 year position)
The position is responsible for managing, coordinating and contributing to the strategic planning, implementation and vision for a Community Development project within the City of Whitehorse. The role will be required to utilise effective strategies for the management of a project brief to meet agreed project objectives, budget and delivery time frame targets.
The applicant will be responsible for the coordination of a Community Development project including lead responsibility for consultation, planning, concept and detailed design phases, procurement, tender evaluation, construction supervision, contract administration, commissioning, project handover and defects management in a manner that achieves all expected delivery outcomes.
The successful applicant will need to have significant experience in project management, combined with a sound understanding of community engagement, coordination of community projects, stakeholder management and infrastructure projects.
