Our Federal Government Client is looking for a Engagement Projects Manager to join on a 12 month contract. This is with a possible chance of extension

The Engagement Projects Manager will;

• Plan, develop, project manage, coordinate, facilitate and provide administrative inputs to Australian Civil-Military Centre outreach activities (workshops, seminars, conferences, forums, meetings)

• Identify opportunities and design, develop and apply strategic guidance and objectives to outreach activities

• Apply experience to, provide advice on, and oversee the development of, blended learning and support materials as part of outreach activities

• Assist with, and where required lead, strategic planning and policy development for the Directorate

• Prepare complex and sensitive briefing material, including ministerial correspondence, options papers, reports and other documents to support the Australian Civil-Military Centre’s mission and Defence's international agenda

• Build and sustain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including national partner agencies and represent Defence at relevant national and multinational meetings and activities. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively in support of Australia's international policy agenda.

• Attain and maintain an understanding of Defence strategic objectives. Identify relevant research and reference material and provide advice on international developments and relationships of significance to Defence.

• Presentation and public speaking skills are desirable

• A willingness to research and the capacity to develop an understanding of the Australian Defence and foreign policy environment

• A collaborative approach to project work
