Your responsibilities will include

Leading the administration and ongoing development of Council’s community grants and donation programs, including:

  • Community Grants Program;
  • Regional Arts Development Fund;
  • Community Support Fund;
  • Donations In-lieu of Rates Program; and
  • Annual Celebrations Fund.

You will facilitate and manage community partnerships and out-going sponsorship arrangements, identify external grant funding opportunities, and provide leadership whilst encouraging teamwork, innovation and excellence. 

To be successful in this role you must possess

A relevant degree qualification and experience in a similar role relating to the administration of grant funding opportunities.  You will have the demonstrated ability to effectively lead and supervise a work team to achieve operational outcomes, and exceptional interpersonal, communication and financial management skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders and manage contractual compliance matters.

Work Location

Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of council's work locations with notice. Council currently has administration offices located at Caboolture, Strathpine and Redcliffe as well as depots, libraries and a range of other facilities located throughout the region.
