About the role
This role performs specialised and complex level operational and/or project activities within service management and project frameworks, governance, standards, guidelines, policies and standards, to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, ensure service levels are met or exceeded, ensure the continuing health and operational availability and capability of services to customers, and contribute to completion of projects on time and within budget.
This work may be generalist or specialist in nature, covering one or more infrastructure and Cloud technologies. Frequent collaboration with stakeholders including management, customers, and staff members in other teams across functions may be required to successfully carry out the responsibilities of this role.
About you
Your role as Technical Specialist Networks will entail, but not be limited to the following:
- Provide personable, professional and customer focused authoritative and expert technical services, administration, monitoring, maintenance, support, advice and knowledge for provisioning of one or more technologies.
- Lead the planning, preparation and implementation of complex technical activities.
- Undertake technical investigations to resolve complex and specialised technical issues.
- Undertake technical implementation of complex and specialised project or initiatives.
- Extract, analyse and interpret data to collate and prepare advanced reports in support of decision making, and project delivery.
- Resolve and collaborate on issues with team members and other technical teams, and escalate as appropriate to Team Lead, and provide appropriate and timely information and updates to stakeholders regarding progress.
- Apply new concepts, and ideas to achieve innovative, efficient and effective delivery of specialist engineering operational and project services.
- As a subject matter expert, contribute to operational strategic planning and decision-making processes with senior stakeholders.
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement activities, including development of technical and process documents.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other members of the team.
- Share knowledge and maintain understanding of applicable technologies by seeking out and participating in professional development programs and activities, including cross-skilling and formal training, and develop written documentation and/or presentations within the group.
- Any other duties as reasonably directed by Cenitex.

- part of an on-call roster to provide 24x7x365 support to all Cenitex customers
- part of a roster that performs mandatory hardware / firmware upgrades after hours
