Our IT Department anchors the Bank's strategic responsibilities, and is the core provider of technology facilities, services and support to the organisation.
As part of the IT team you will be responsible for providing high quality first level operational information technology support for staff. Support requests come in by telephone, email, face-to-face and via a call logging systems.
You'll respond to requests, troubleshoot and diagnose incidents, undertake training over the phone and escalate to other support groups as required. Professional client service delivery, great communication skills and an ability to quickly diagnose problems are essential.
We are looking for high achievers with 2-3 years of similar IT experience that are keen to continue working in first and second level support for the next year or so before moving on to other opportunities across IT.
To be considered for the role you will have:
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in IT or closely related study area
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows 7, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory and group policy environments and technologies
- A good understanding of client facing devices (desktop and laptop etc.) and knowledge of Antivirus, Citrix, VPN, TCP/IP and LAN/WAN environments
- Experience in working within/with a service desk in an operational support environment
- Experience in resolving issues and the ability to provide training over the phone.
- Microsoft (MCSE, MCP) or Cisco certifications would be a big advantage.
