About the Company

Role Overview
Reporting to the highly experienced Contracts Manager, the Industrial Capability Project Manager will operate autonomously to ensure that General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) meets or exceeds customer expectations for Industrial Capability.
Industrial Capability includes Australian Sovereign Capabilities, Engagements with SMEs, Systems Integration, Manufacturing, Import Replacement, R&D, Aboriginal Involvement and identification of Export opportunities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the below Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or other related field
- Proven experience project managing a similar portfolio within the Defence sector
- Strong commercial acumen with experience developing, publishing and maintaining policy and procedures relating to Industry Capability
- Experience in coordinating and contributing to complex, large tender teams
- Analytically minded and able to identify customer and industry trends and anticipate future development
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships both internally and externally
- Effective influencer with strong negotiation skills to ensure exceptional results for the customer and GDLS
- Excellent organisation, planning and prioritisation skills
To be successful for this position you must be eligible for an Australian Security Clearance.
