We have a 12 month fixed term opportunity for an experienced process and documentation developer to join our Rollingstock Asset Management Project (Project RAMP) based at our Mayne depot (Bowen Hills).

Project RAMP is dedicated to the total asset lifecycle management utilising SAP, this role is required to evaluate current procedures and develop, document and assist in the implementation of new procedures used in the maintenance and repair of rollingstock.

 

You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of operational and business procedures, documentation and forms unique to Rollingstock Maintenance as part of Enterprise Asset Management. You will be working in a small project team dedicated solely to “Project Ramp” and will be a critical team member focussed on the success of the project.

 

We are looking for candidates who have a strong background in interpreting business requirements/issues and translating the analyses into the development of process documentation within a complex organisation. Previous experience working in a maintenance environment utilising SAP with knowledge in testing procedures and translating business solutions into system programs would be highly advantageous.

 

You will be required to facilitate brainstorming workshops which will  include some travel to regional sites across QLD. Your outstanding communication skills combined with the ability to influence a varied and culturally diverse range of stakeholders will ensure your success in this role. 

 

Key responsibilities for this role are (but not limited to):

 

  • Develop and maintain procedures, documentation and forms consistent with the Asset Lifecycle framework through eliciting requirements from the Rollingstock management team, analyse and assess the proposed process and articulate the rationale for recommended course of action and document agreed outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for the improvement to current processes to simplify them to create efficiencies across Rollingstock Maintenance using Enterprise Asset Management system (SAP).
  • Ensure compliance obligations are adequately documented within the process documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders when determining business requirements on behalf of others (professional end-to-end process).
  • Identify systems & integration inconsistencies through various methods and raise this with senior team members to determine best course of action.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of Maintenance Depot operations and strategic direction for Rollingstock Maintenance to be able to influence ongoing process enhancements.

Base salary starting point from $90,000 plus Superannuation
