Coordinator Fleet and Operations Centre Management
Salary range commencing from $106,800 per annum (Band 8) depending on skills and experience plus super plus car.
Location: Notting Hill
The Strategic Asset Management branch of Monash City Council is seeking dynamic and highly motivated person to lead a number of support services for the organisation. This is a rare opportunity for experienced individual to deliver fleet management services for Council and to support the Infrastructure division by managing the Monash Operations Centre (MOC) site and assisting with continuous improvement activities to allow teams to operate effectively and efficiently.
Candidates will ideally have the following:
- A tertiary qualification in an engineering / management or related field or lesser formal qualifications with extensive and diverse experience.
- A demonstrated ability to manage staff and contracted services to provide efficient and effective customer focused service.
- A demonstrated ability to persuade, convince or negotiate, gain co-operation and to establish effective working relationships with clients, members of the public, other employees and persons in other organisations in the pursuit and achievement of set objectives.
- A demonstrated ability to achieve objectives and goals, taking account of organisational and external constraints and opportunities.
- A demonstrated understanding of fleet and asset management, stores, warehousing and yard management.
- Experience in developing strategy, formulating objectives and action plans.
- Extensive experience in implementing and maintaining change management and continuous improvement regimes, contract and project management.
- A current Victorian drivers licence or equivalent licence.
