An exciting opportunity exists within Greater Shepparton's Active Living Department to lead a team focussed on the promotion and delivery of a range of Health and Wellbeing and Sports Development initiatives.
The Team Leader Healthy Communities is responsible for coordinating exciting initiatives such as the Municipal Public Health Plan, Activities in the Park program, Sporting Chance and Sports Hall of Fame.
The effective and efficient delivery of these services and programs and others makes a difference to the health outcomes for the communities of Greater Shepparton.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in the development, delivery, monitoring, evaluation of Municipal Public Health & Well-being planning and the drive to implement current programs as well as the initiative to create new program opportunities.
In this role, you will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, program growth, quality customer service and safety. Strong skills in financial management are essential along with excellent leadership, communication and relationship building skills.
Working as part of the Active Living leadership team, you will oversee the management of programs, be responsible for reporting and financial management and develop and deliver the Healthy Community Branch's strategic and operational direction.
