What you'll be doing
The purpose of a Research Nurse is to work In a team environment, managing a caseload of patients participating in Oncology Clinical trials. Ensuring research is conducted In accordance with the protocol, policy, legislation, ethical requirements and guidelines for Good Clinical Practice to achieve high quality data for research.


Employees must abide by the NSW Health Code of Conduct. Criminal record checks will be undertaken on successful applicants and applicants for positions designated as Category A will be required to obtain required vaccinations prior to commencing employment. 

 

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
 


  • Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  • Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse - Division 1
  • Experience in Oncology Nursing and/or previous experience in clinical trials
  • Ability to organise self and prioritise work load
  • Demonstrated understandinq of Privacy Legislation related to medical records
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office such as Access Excel, Word
  • Experience in venepuncture skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
