What you'll be doing
 
The Project Officer – Delegations manages and coordinates the implementation of the Delegations of Authority Audit, including the review and update of the NSW Ambulance Delegations Manual.
 
This is a temporary full time position for a period of up to approximately 12 months with possible extension. Expected start date is as soon as possible up to June 2019.

Employees subject to an ECP or ICP consolidation period are ineligible to apply for this position.
 
Total remuneration package valued at $122,322.03 (including salary $93,099 pa to $110,422 pa, annual leave loading and employers contribution to superannuation). Salary packaging arrangements providing additional benefits are also available.
 
Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency


Employment conditions:

-The successful applicant will be appointed under the terms and conditions of the Health Managers (State) Award and will be required to enter into the annual Performance Development Program.
- The successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at the other centres should the need arise.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a satisfactory conduct and services check, which includes referee/supervisor check, a review of National Criminal Record Check, review of Service Check Register, a review of sick leave, ability to undertake full duties of the position and clearance from the Professional Standards Unit.

Selection Criteria:

 

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience working in a relevant discipline.
  2. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage projects and implement organisational strategies.
  3. Demonstrated problem solving, analytical and research skills to develop and implement solutions to complex issues including the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and draft complex reports and policies.
  4. Demonstrated experience working in a complex environment dealing with and influencing senior management and stakeholders to meet project needs in a timely manner, including the application of excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  5. Excellent organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
  6. Demonstrated understanding of corporate governance related policies, procedures, guidelines and statutory requirements in the public sector.
  7. Knowledge of or ability to quickly gain knowledge of NSW Ambulance operations.
  8. Well-developed Microsoft Office skills including high level Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
