Public Works Advisory uses its expertise to deliver significant infrastructure projects that support the community. Our expertise in planning, design, delivery and maintenance of engineering, building, and environmental projects, enables us to assist our clients in maximising value and manage risks in their infrastructure programs and in the management of their assets.

Public Works Advisory, South Coast Region is looking to appoint a Safety, Environmental, and Quality Advisor (SEQ) to provide high-level advice, guidance and expertise, training and practical assistance to Public Works Advisory, staff and clients on Work Health and Safety (WHS), Environmental and Quality management, particularly involving the design, construction and maintenance of built assets and the relevant legislation and policy dealing with WHS and Environmental compliance and obligations.

About you:

·        You enjoy implementing and monitoring SEQ management requirements, strategies and initiatives and passionate in providing quality advice to a range of stakeholders to minimise risk on infrastructure and/or similar projects

 

·        You have strong communication and relationship skills a flexible and outcome focussed approach.  You work in collaboration with clients and broader multidisciplinary teams to meet SEQ targets in a commercial environment.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

·        Experience in providing project advisory services with experience in SEQ auditing, incident reporting and incident investigation and/or tertiary qualifications in a related discipline

 

·        Extensive knowledge of current WHS and Environmental legislation and regulations as they apply to construction.

 

·        High level communication, negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to work in complex and demanding environments.

 

·        A valid NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive to remote locations which will include overnight stays.

Salary Grade 7/8 maximum salary package up to $113,456. Package includes salary [$92,471 – $102,359] and employer’s contribution to superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.
