The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to become part of the Customer Information Management team in Sydney Trains. This position will be responsible for developing a culture of collaboration and accountability while leading and inspiring a multi-disciplined team to deliver a portfolio of projects that improve customer outcomes. 

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading delivery in a customer facing and customer focussed environment. They should be familiar with contemporary methodologies like lean and agile.

 
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
  • Leading, planning and coordinating a team of capable delivery resources to achieve optimal utilization of business outcomes.
  • Designing and delivering projects that ensure maximum synergies and value for money.
  • Managing the overall delivery of projects to ensure adherence to appropriate methodology, budget policy, financial controls process and procedures
  • Actively managing key internal and external relationships including the Transport Cluster to create an effective interface, share information, manage dependencies and align projects to deliver outcomes

Essential requirements
  • Extensive experience leading and developing multi-disciplined project delivery teams in complex environment
  • Experience with contemporary development methodologies like Lean and Agile or similar and knowledge of industry standard development methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant equivalent professional experience
