We have an exciting opportunity for a Finishing Grader Operator to be a part of our District Works Riverina team within Roads and Maritime Services. This position plays a key role in operating plant or machinery to a high level of skill and be able to achieve predetermined tolerances and standards. They would also have a sound knowledge of related work techniques and would be able to monitor and control the operation of all other plant and staff involved in the process being undertaken.

The Finishing Grader Operator will be able to trim and finish to tight tolerances and achieve the specified standards for roughness and levels for the Base Course. The operator will have a high knowledge of road construction and maintenance procedures especially the levelling and trimming process and may control and direct other plant operators working on the same process.

We are looking for a safety professional who has the ability to understand and follow instructions and work procedures together with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively and co-operatively in a team environment.

RMS Non Trades Wages Staff Pay Point 8 ($1281.1 per week) plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
