Have you recently finished or currently still completing an ICT Degree and were unsuccessful in securing a role within the Australian Public Service on a Graduate's program? Here is your second chance...
Our client, The Department of Human Services, support individuals, families and communities to achieve greater self-sufficiency; through the delivery of policy advice and high quality accessible social, health and child support services and other payments; and support providers and businesses through convenient and efficient service delivery.
They are currently looking for ICT GRADUATES to join their team in the APS Pathways Program (similar to Graduate Program). You will need to have completed/be completing a Degree/Diploma in ICT or similar (Certificates may be accepted depending on experience) within the last 5 years.
This Pathways Program will be a great way for you to kick start your career within the Australian Public Service. You must have a desire to want to learn and develop within the Department. All successful applicants will commence on a contract that will carry through to June 2020, with intakes in Mid-August and Mid-September.
Requirements:
- Completed/completing a Degree/Diploma in IT and looking for full time work
- Hard working individual who isn’t afraid to put in the hard yards
- Time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Sound communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Be able to work well under pressure
- Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
- Effective team player
- High level of customer service
- Degree/Diploma must be less than 5 years old
