Position Summary:
The Social Media and Communities Lead will lead and manage the development and implementation of strategic social media campaigns and initiatives to drive engagement and reach, increase website visits and build Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) brand awareness. Working across all the department's social media channels (including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and others), the Social Media and Communities Lead will plan, create and coordinate engaging and relevant content, contribute to follower conversations, report on social media activity and stay up to date with the latest social tools, trends and test new social media platforms.
Working closely with others in Digital Engagement and Strategy, and across the Communications & Media Branch, the incumbent will provide advice and input into the social media execution of campaigns and champion innovation, creativity and connectivity within the department's social communities.
