The Department of Planning & Environment is the lead NSW Government agency in planning for a growing NSW. The Department is going through an exciting period of organisational and operational change.
 
 
About the Role:
Working within the Cluster Corporate Services Division of the Department, we need a savvy Financial Analyst who can hit the ground running in our team. You will act as the point of contact for the business preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts and provide support to a variety of stakeholders.
 
Your financial expertise in a similar role coupled with SAP exposure is required to be successful in this role. You will have superior communication skills, business acumen and an ability to coordinate financial information from and for business areas.

Essential requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and membership of a recognised professional accounting body such as CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia
  • Prior experience in a management reporting, budgeting and Finance business partnering.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel.
