• Play a critical role in the provision of administrative and operational support services in a dynamic environment
• Support a strong team of scientists who contribute to environmental knowledge, data and evidence
• Collaborate with a variety of teams and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure continuous improvement in administrative systems and processes

This role will work for Science Division, which sits within the Office of Environment and Heritage. Science Division provides scientific evidence and knowledge to underpin environmental decision making, regulation and service delivery.
 
About the Role:
The Senior Project Officer Operational Delivery coordinates the provision of uniform and consistent administrative and operational support services across the Division.

• Embrace the challenge of providing consistent administrative services to geographically dispersed staff
• Oversee the professional development for all administration staff across the Division
• Collaborate with the Cluster Corporate Services (CCS) team on a range of processes, including the implementation of the annual Science Division Work Health and Safety Plan
 
Essential requirements:
• Experience in supporting operational and administration support team/s across a diverse business environment.
 
To be successful in the role, ideally you will have:
• Previous background or experience working with staff in a technical or scientific area of expertise
• Experience coordinating and implementing organisational plans eg. Work Health & Safety planning
