Policy Analysts
Parliamentary Budget Office, Parliament of Victoria
This is an opportunity for you to join a newly formed team located in the Parliamentary Precinct as a Policy Analyst, providing analysis, independent of the Government, of the financial impact of policies proposed by political parties. Strong analytical and modelling skills are required; and any exposure to health, education, infrastructure, transport or justice sectors (private or public sector) will be well regarded.
If successful, you will have the opportunity to exercise your judgement to a wide range of government service delivery areas, work individually and in small project teams on a range of challenging problems and help to establish the culture of this new office.
Appointments will be made as permanent Parliamentary Officers with excellent conditions of employment outlined the Parliamentary Officers (Non-Executive) Enterprise Agreement.
The Parliamentary Budget Office consists of three streams:
- Governance and operations
- Economics and Fiscal Policy
- Policy proposal analysis
