About the role

  • The Technical Advice Officer will be responsible for providing high level technical advice to a variety of stakeholders and reviewing and developing work procedures and business processes and protocols to establish best workplace practice. 
  • The Salary Range for this position is $69,127.14 - $73,935.07 gross per annum plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.4% superannuation.
  • This position is for a 12 month Maternity Leave backfill or until the return of the incumbent to the position. 

How to be successful in this position - Success Criteria

You will need;

  1. The mandatory qualifications and experience as listed in the "Success Criteria" in the Position Description.
  2. High level of written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  3. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide specialist advice to both internal and external customers on legislative, procedural and policy activities relevant to the work area.
  4. Demonstrated high level of skills in the operation of computer applications including the ability to learn and implement new software.
  5. Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and contribute knowledge in establishing, reviewing and applying procedures in the work area.
  6. Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy and procedure relevant to the work area.
  7. Commitment to Council’s Organisational Value and Behaviour of Collaboration and Teamwork.
