Brimbank City Council has a newly created permanent full time Litter Enforcement Officer position which will provide an efficient and effective Law Enforcement service both through education of the community and enforcement of applicable legislation as required.
The Key responsibilities are;
Investigation and Enforcement of relevant Acts, Regulations and Council's local laws applicable to litter and dumped rubbish.
Inform and educate the community on issues in relation to state legislation and Local Laws relevant to litter and dumped rubbish.
Ensure prompt and responsive action is taken to resolve enquires/complaints when dealing with the public and that matters are handled with diplomacy and integrity.
