What you'll be doing
To be successful in this role you will provide strategic expert technical procurement advice on policies, procedures, systems and standards to Institute staff undertaking procurement planning, sourcing and contract management activities whilst ensuring that the organisation meets is statutory obligations as a government pillar agency within NSW Health.

You will be making a difference in a highly dedicated and focus driven organisation where your hands-on experience in all aspects of procurement management and governance will be appreciated.   This is a rare opportunity for a Procurement Manager to be able to work on projects that have real and tangible benefit for the community.

Procurement experience within CINSW is on a development journey, however the level of sophistication is high and the culture is supportive.  CINSW Staff are ready to make you their trusted advisor and your experience in Indirects and ICT procurement, and the mechanics of the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework and Buying Schemes, would be used to great effect. There are opportunities to develop synergies and strategies that would streamline expenditure categories more efficiently, whilst experience in Procurement Tools and ERP Systems would also be useful.

Essential to your technical expertise will be your ability build productive and effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.  You will be the trusted advisor and will have demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, coach and support stakeholders and influence best practice solutions.
