This role is unique within the QR business.  It is responsible for the creation and oversight of the Strategic Graffiti Prevention & Management Plan and the supporting plans and procedures.  In this role you will the primary liaison point for the businesses interactions with the QPS Graffiti Task force, QPS Railway Squad, and a range of local councils. You will also be responsible for the day to day management of the Graffiti Management team personnel, including the Positive pARTnership members.

 

We are looking for candidates who have extensive proven experience in a similar role in a large complex  organisation. Your ability to manage a small team, build and maintain collaborative and constructive relationships, develop and implement innovative processes and practices, influence change and drive performance will ensure your success in this role.  

 

Key Selection Criteria:

  • High level of skill in developing and implementing operational strategies and analysing performance to enhance the security and safety of staff, passengers and assets and improve customer experience.
  • High level of skill in the evaluation of criminal activity and the development and implementation of targeted programs to minimise criminal activity on large infrastructure assets.
  • High level of skill in community engagement for the development of key customer experience initiatives.
  • Extensive knowledge of law enforcement policies and procedures, law court procedures, pertinent legislation and crime prevention strategies as applied to a mass transit environment.
  • High level of skill in developing and implementing strategic alliances both internal and external for effective and efficient operations and safety.
  • High level of negotiation, consultation, customer, oral/written communication, interpersonal, analytical skills working autonomously, in a team and multi disciplinary environment.

Starting Salary $103,000 plus Superannuation. In addition to a generous superannuation scheme, Queensland Rail also offers free train travel to and from work on duty days and a healthy work/ life balance.
