Your new company

They are currently seeking a VPS 4 equivalent Strategic Projects Adviser for a long term/ongoing basis, and are flexible in their initial offering for the right candidate.
Your new role
Your new role will sit within the Corporate Services branch, and report directly to the Chief Corporate Officer. This multi-faceted role will see you working across this organisation and its’ 7 divisions to ensure that each of the division is tracking to fully implement its’ individual business plan. You will directly liaise with each of the 7 internal Project Leads, coordinating the effort, as well as reporting back to the senior executives in the forms of briefings and written reports. In addition, you will occasionally contribute to business cases, and ideally operational/strategic risk registers pertaining to the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, it is imperative that you are a personable, approachable and organised professional with prior experience within the government sector. You will be comfortable liaising with senior executive stakeholders, holding people accountable, and pushing back if required. Your written communication skills will be remarkable and attention to detail next to none. Prior experience with projects/policy coordination and ideally strategic/business planning will give you a solid foundation to hit the ground running, meanwhile this organisation will train you in risk if you haven’t had the exposure prior to joining.
