About us


The Department of Justice delivers legal, court and supervision services to the people of NSW by managing courts and justice services, implementing programs to reduce crime and re offending, managing custodial and community-based correctional services, protecting rights and community standards and advising on law reform and legal matters.


Juvenile Justice NSW is a dynamic organisation in a period of exciting change. Juvenile Justice supervises and cares for young offenders in the community and in detention centres in NSW. The division provides diversionary and community-based services, as well as custodial services in detention centres for young people on remand and on control order


About the role


Manage and implement a range of projects across the Research & Information unit, to support and improve service delivery.  Undertake a supporting project management role in very large and complex projects.  


Essential Requirements


? Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
? Knowledge and experience in statistical analysis, research and evaluation methods
? Knowledge and experience in statistical software (e.g. SPSS))
? Cleared working with children check for paid employment


The Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 requires persons engaged in children related work to have Working with Children clearances. If successful in this role you will be required to provide a Working with Children Check clearance number prior to commencing in the role. About you


? Demonstrate organisational and project management skills with ability to successfully prioritise, initiate, manage, and complete tasks according to deadlines.
? Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and experience communicating successfully with a range of stakeholders in large, complex organisations.
? Ability to problem solve and manage work independently, ensuring work is completed efficiently, and delivered to a high standard within required timeframes.
