About the role

 

Coordinate information services and technology that will support the IPC’s objectives and support the Manager, Systems and Corporate Services and Director, Business Improvement in developing strong operational partnerships with the Justice Cluster as the service provider.

Coordinate the Office’s procurement processes; ensure compliance with all legislative and procedural requirements and effective cost efficiencies.

Identify opportunities for business improvements and manage projects that deliver improved business and people management, in collaboration with a shared Corporate Services provider.

About you

 

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the team at IPC to ensure our IT and procurement processes are effective, compliant and support the achievement of our regulatory objectives.

Some of the key challenges of this position will entail:

·         Integrating, consolidating and implementing the provision of a range of corporate services functions and reporting requirements across the IPC, whilst having services delivered through the shared Corporate Services provider and in the context of broader Justice Cluster environment.

·         Balancing the administrative needs of a range of staff, negotiating workable timeframes and prioritising activities appropriately.

·         Maintain a current knowledge of key compliance obligations relating to core responsibilities.

You will someone who can exercise discretion, initiative, sound judgement, confidentiality and sensitivity to identify and refer issues that require the immediate attention of managers for further action.

 

Essential Qualifications

  • Qualifications or equivalent experience in IT, business administration or related discipline.
  • Practical experience in the development, use and administration of systems to monitor and manage IT systems and Procurement processes, to IPC’s meet legislative obligations
