ABOUT THE COMPANY
The Federal Government Commission has been established as a part of the roll out of the recently developed Scheme. This newly created Commission has been set up to register and regulate providers as a part of this Scheme. You as a part of the Commission are responsible for supporting the development of strategic directions identified by the Executive.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the HR Director, you will supervise a small team as well as supporting the people strategy. You will be responsible for all relevant programs in support of outcomes as identified by the HR Director.
DUTIES
- Support the HR Director and other line managers on HR matters
- Promote corporate priorities and develop best in class HR practices
- Leading the development of high quality HR services
- Coordinating and reporting on internal and external people activities
- Driving continuous improvement practices
- Coaching and mentoring others to contribute to a learning culture
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Extensive experience in delivering HR Management services
- Demonstrated ability in effective people management
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong decision making and judgement skills
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
- Must have Baseline Security Clearance
