ICT Asset Management Officer APS6/EL1

• 14 month contract with possible extension option 
• Immediate start 
• South side location 

Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced ICT Asset Management Officer APS6/EL1 for an immediate start 14 month contract with possible 24 month extension. 

Your new role:

• Coordinate with regional ICT staff
• Create documentation of ICT asset management processes that are consistent with industry best practice and formal ICT Management Frameworks such as ITIL
• Ensuring the appropriate registration of new assets and asset movements and asset stocktakes
• Asset refresh and upgrade projects including role outs of ICT operating systems across the agencies existing desktop and mobile devices
• Provide advice on ICT asset management and as required escalate complex issues  to the ICT Business Manager
• Draft task cards, divisional communications, briefing papers and other corporate documents as they relate to ICT asset management

Ideally, you will have:

• Prior experience in a similar role within APS
• Previous experience working as part of cross-agency teams spanning geographic locations
• An understanding of the importance of appropriate ICT asset management practices
• The ability to engage with stakeholders in a positive and professional manner
• Strong organisational skills, methodical and high attention to detail
