Full-Time, Permanent
Nine-Day Fortnight
The Town is seeking to appoint a full-time Roadworks General Hand to join our Asset Services Team. This position assists in the construction and maintenance of all civil engineering works including storm water drainage works, placement and finish of concrete and brick paving and road construction and maintenance.
The successful applicant will have a relevant Trade Certificate Level Qualification or possess appropriate and relevant equivalent experience, experience in the maintenance of roads, footpaths and drainage systems and experience using mechanical plant and equipment. A current WA ‘LR’ or ‘MR’ Class Drivers License is essential.
This position is 76 hours per fortnight – worked over a nine-day fortnight with the working hours of 6.30am to 3.30pm.
Salary and Benefits
- A salary of $56,000 per annum is offered
- Plus up to 14.5% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave per year plus 17.5% leave loading
- Two additional leave days per year
