The Department of Finance, Services & Innovation (DFSI) is a service provider, regulator and central agency of government. We are transforming the way we do business to help make NSW great.
Heritage Stoneworks are a business unit within DFSI that are responsible for the maintaining of heritage building and structures within NSW and ensuring they stand the test of time. The team, based in Alexandria, manages the project and construction management delivery of the Minister Stone Program and other heritage projects. In 2013 the team received Trade Skills Award and the National Trust Awards.
Heritage Stoneworks is seeking to appoint an Apprentice Carpenter to work within a team of Carpenters engaged in the restoration/conservation of heritage buildings. The office is based at Alexandria, with the majority of sites based within the Sydney metropolitan area.
Selection criteria:
Undertaking or completed the School Certificate or equivalent, or completed a pre-apprenticeship course or currently undertaking a trade course
Demonstrated knowledge, aptitude and commitment to a selected trade

Salary: Apprentice Carpenter package includes fortnightly wage ($1,061.35 - $1,952.55), plus applicable allowances and employer’s contribution to superannuation.
