Our large state government client in the transport industry is looking to engage a number of site managers to fulfil these long term (12mth +) contracts within a number of disciplines.
We are looking for candidates who have experience as a site manager in one or more of the following disciplines: Civil, Construction, Rail and Electrical.
As a site manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of site, working alongside project managers and project engineers to ensure that all staff and contractors are working in a safe environment.
Your role will be to review site / project plans and ensure the correct risk assessments have been completed and correct policies and procedures are in place on each site in order for the works to be correctly and safely undertaken.
You will be using your skills in stakeholder management, construction solutions and work health and safety to complete the role to a high standard.
To be successful you will have:
- 5 + years experience in a site manager / supervisory position, ideally from a multi-discipline background
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong Stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and implement new procedures at a high level and ensure they are being adhered to
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, specifically using microsoft office products such as word, outlook and excel
- Your own transport and a valid clean drivers license
- The ability to pass a national criminal record check and medical check (both are a neccessity for these roles)
- Your white card and RISI ticket or willingness to obtain (both are a neccessity for these roles)
The sites you are working on will be located across the Sydney metro region, but may involve occasional travel to regional sites such as Lithgow or Newcastle. The main depot where you will be based for 90% of the time is in Leichardt.
You are expected to be able to work nights and weekends as well as day time shifts, so please only apply if you have the flexibilty to be able to work both.
