Council is seeking applications for the position of Design Engineer
Reporting to the Assets and Operations Manager, the position is responsible for managing Council's capital works design program to meet construction targets in the period.
The role will provide survey and design of Council's infrastructure including roads, drainage, flood mitigation, paths and parks and gardens.
To be successful, the applicant should have a Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering acceptable for membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia and at least 1 year experience in Local Government engineering or a related area.
The position is classified as Band 12 within Council's salary structure with a salary range from $64,250.00 to $70,031.96 per annum plus statutory superannuation, with actual salary to be based on qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017
