The Project

Landcom has partnered with Transport for NSW (Sydney Metro Delivery Office) to collaborate on the master planning, development and divestment of the government land surrounding the Sydney Metro Northwest station sites. Landcom and Transport for NSW will work together to deliver vibrant and well-designed places that capitalise on the new metro system. This program is referred to as Sydney Metro Northwest Places.

The Role

This role requires you to support the Team by coordinating activities, place branding in line with the expectations of project partners, and liaise with suppliers, designers and contractors to prepare for various activities. You will develop data capture methods and will aid in clear communication across the team.

You will establish processes, procedures, templates and the general coordination of the team, along with developing and managing stakeholder and operator database. You will contribute to community engagement activities, seek new ideas and innovations in the delivery of projects, and undertake research to support the most efficient approval pathways.
This role is a 6-month contract to permanent position.

The Person

The successful candidate will exhibit:
  • Demonstrated experience in project support and implementation
  • Experience and/or awareness of marketing and community engagement
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write concise reports, and build strong collaborative relationships
  • Demonstrate excellent planning and coordination skills to meet deadlines and juggle various tasks.
  • A passion for best practice and community engagement, with a creative approach to events and driving an effective customer experience.
