Our client is looking for an APS6 or EL1 Project Officer to assist with the implementation and delivery of a large programme of work.
The key components of this role will be to:-
- Monitor progress and manage implementation of the evaluations of the project
- Contribute to the design and development of the evaluations
- Asist in the development, clearance and delivery of high quality survey instruments and other evaluation documentation
- Manage contracts/grants of evaluators
- Engage effectively with stakeholders (including non-government, central agencies, in the team and across the department)
- Manage secretariat responsibilities, including maintaining lists and records of decisions and support for executives in the team
- Support core policy responsibilities with research, administrative support and analysis of issues as required by executives within the team, branch and group
- Respond to briefing requests and provide policy advice for senior management
- Other related duties as required
To be successful in this role you will have project management, grants and contractor management experience. You will possess strong stakeholder management skills, have the ability to analyse, think strategically and be a great problem solver. You will work well under pressure and have the ability to work towards challenging deadlines.
