About the business and the role
Procurement Professionals Pty Ltd is a Canberra based company providing procurement and contract management services to the Australian Government.
We are looking for personnel with suitable procurement and contracts skills and experience to fill an Australian Government procurement and contract management role.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The successful applicant will:
• demonstrate suitable procurement and contract management experience
• have a good understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules
• have experience developing all forms of procurement documentation
• be able to develop, review and vary contracts
• be experienced in the use of Government panels
• be able to provide a high standard of service with minimal supervision
• be able to work well within a team.
Skills and experience
The following qualifications and experience are desirable for this role:
• Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) or a Diploma in Government (Procurement and Contracting).
• Minimum of five years' recent experience in providing procurement advice and services, with a preference for this to have been in the Australian Government context.
Commonwealth security clearance is helpful but not mandatory.
