Digital and Technology Services works in close collaboration with various business units to deliver a range of information and communication technology projects that support key business objectives.
About the role
As the Specialist Solutions Project Officer you will be responsible for assisting, guiding and co-ordinating other project management professionals in the management of programs and projects that facilitate the achievement of business outcomes through the use of process and technology.
What are we looking for?
You are a proactive, self-starter with an eye for detail, experienced in the project delivery process and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, processes and guidelines for project management. You will be able to use your expertise in improving the quality of project artefacts produced by project teams. You will contribute to improving program and project risk management. Additionally, the following will be required to effectively carry out this role:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to various audiences, and to write fluently.
- Demonstrated experience undertaking objective, critical analysis and identifying effective solutions that incorporate a wider business context when needed.
- The ability to be flexible dealing with issues, and constructively work through the exchange of frank and honest advice when determining alternatives for resolution.
- Proven experience in dealing with competing priorities and diverse stakeholders in a large and complex enterprise.
