What you'll be doing
The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for providing leadership in all aspects of the Shoalhaven Hospital Group (SHG) Pharmacy Service to ensure provision of a safe, effective and efficient pharmaceutical service of the highest ethical and professional standard, consistent with ISLHD and NSW Health policy directives and relevant professional standards of practice. The Director of Pharmacy will share the role as chair of the Shoalhaven Medication Safety Working Party, and share Pharmacy representation and co-ordination for the Drug and Therapeutics Committee.
Please note: This position will be considered temporary full time until 06 January 2019, with a view to permanency after this date, dependent on the incumbent. The successful applicant for this recruitment will be considered for the permanent position.

Selection Criteria:
- Current registration as a Pharmacist with National Registration Board (AHPRA).
- Extensive experience and/or knowledge of hospital pharmacy practice.
- Proven capacity to co-ordinate the functions of a pharmacy department with demonstrable supervisory experience.
- Relevant post graduate qualifications in Pharmacy or management would be considered desirable.
- Knowledge or interest in coordinating Quality and Medication Safety programs within the healthcare setting.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture.
- High level computer skills and healthcare information systems.
