This position is responsible for the delivery of the Bank’s payments settlement network, including datacentre design, migration, coordination and technical leadership on the project. The successful applicant will direct and mentor a small team of dedicated engineers.

You will be responsible for design, provisioning, upgrading, capacity planning and performance testing of payment network systems infrastructure with exposure to doing analysis of network traffic data and providing recommendations on performance improvements to the payments projects.
You will provide technical consultancy, produce design, technical documentation regarding infrastructure solutions.
To be successful in this role you will have extensive hands on experience on CISCO (Nexus, ASA) and F5 (LTM, GTM) with exposure to project delivery. You will also have advanced operational knowledge of networking systems and software covering both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs) and strong understanding of networking and enterprise design.
If you have knowledge of load testing, performance monitoring systems and exposure to systems/virtualisation infrastructure, this will add to your success in the role.
The role will be offered under a 24 month employment arrangement initially with scope to be offered further employment.
