What’s the job involve?

In this role you will be working with customers to provide pre-sales advisory services, to extract and document customer requirements, design and deliver complex solutions for customers based on their needs. You will be responsible for the design and development of complex and / or multi product solutions and opportunities as part of the process to design and sell solutions that meet customer needs.  You will focus on a breadth of understanding of AP product and solution capability to deliver on complex non-standard solutions across the organisation’s portfolio to drive customer and revenue growth

You will work closely with other Business & Government Sales teams, to identify, assess, and agree solution options for all complex and / or multiproduct solutions where solution business consultants are engaged across customer opportunities.

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • Highly developed consulting skills and experience providing advice to senior stakeholders within customer organisation.
  • Strategic selling skills.
  • Highly developed skills in the application of design thinking capabilities to better understand customer problems and opportunities.
  • Strong business analysis skills to extract, synthesis and document customer requirements.
  • Advanced skills in defining, managing and implementing business information strategy, policy and procedures.
  • Expertise in the design and communication of technical strategies to enable and guide the design of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs. Incorporating the identification of new and emerging hardware, software and communication technologies and products, services, methods and techniques and the assessment of their relevance and potential value as business enablers, improvements in cost, performance or sustainability.
  • Extensive experience in the provision of expert guidance and support on the effective use of all relevant systems and operations. This includes both general advice on how systems and operations can support the wider business and specialist advice on specific technical specialties.
  • Strong skills in interpretation of business goals and drivers; Translation of business strategy and objectives, as well as proactive innovative thinking, idea capture and management and research to anticipate and meet the current and future needs of the business. Brings about significant business process improvement.
  • Develop trusted relationships with the Account Managers and the Customer.
  • Significant experience in the coordination of relationships with and between key stakeholders, during the design, management and implementation of business change.
