Council is seeking a Senior Supervisor with experience supporting and mentoring a team in a day to day operational environment.
The successful applicant will be required to oversee the operational activities of Council's Waste Transfer Station network, to ensure that the public waste disposal facilities are providing an effective service to our residents, are operated efficiently, and in accordance with Council policy and legislative requirements.
To be considered in this role, you will have the following:
- Proven experience in a senior supervisory role
- Substantial knowledge of design, construction and operational systems relevant to the management of waste
- Significant experience in the supervision of civil works including the day to day management of contracts, including financial management responsibility
- Experience in the operation of computer software
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, or demonstrated equivalent competencies gained through experience
- Current C Class Drivers Licence, White Card Queensland and Front-End Loader Backhoe Licence.
The remuneration being from $69,177 - $73,897 per annum plus superannuation.
Applicants who are interviewed and who are selected to progress to the next stage of the selection process will be required to undertake a Drug and Alcohol Screening Test as well as a Pre-Employment Medical and Criminal History Check.
