About the Role
This role will be required to undertake:
- Inpatient and outpatient care, including but not limited to ward rounds, outpatient clinics, the Emergency Department and Operating Theatres.
- Assess patients, determine and instigate the appropriate investigations and establish management plans for patients in consultation with the supervising consultant.
- Deliver surgical care under an appropriate level of supervision.
- Early Discharge Planning (inpatient care).
- Communication with patients and their carers by outlining findings, management plans and alternative treatments, which form a part of the consent process under an appropriate level of supervision.
