About the Role
This role will be required to undertake:

  • Inpatient and outpatient care, including but not limited to ward rounds, outpatient clinics, the Emergency Department and Operating Theatres.
  • Assess patients, determine and instigate the appropriate investigations and establish management plans for patients in consultation with the supervising consultant.
  • Deliver surgical care under an appropriate level of supervision.
  • Early Discharge Planning (inpatient care).
  • Communication with patients and their carers by outlining findings, management plans and alternative treatments, which form a part of the consent process under an appropriate level of supervision.
